Simply Right Past & Present   Simply Right was founded in June of 2009 as a non-partisan, discussion-oriented group aimed at promoting the conservative ideas that members of all parties held in common. In August of 2010, the group evolved into a Political Action Committee meant to help candidates who pledge to represent people over government. Simply Right has been featured on several radio stations and a number of newspapers in the region stretching across the state of Minnesota since its creation. Its first members-only meeting was held January 17th, 2011. Rudy Takala was unanimously approved by attendees to act as the Executive Director of Simply Right. Rudy manages the organization of meetings and maintenance of the group's documents. The group's legal Chairman is Dick Kuzel, formerly the head of First National Bank in Pine City. Simply Right's Treasurer is Dave Ostenson, formerly the treasurer of Reformers for Rudy Takala, and acting as Deputy Treasurer is Russ Troolin, formerly the owner of the Pine City Vet Clinic. If you would like to attend meetings and become a member of Simply Right, you may become a member for the 2011 calendar year by sending $20 to "Simply Right" at 510 1st St. NE, Hinckley, MN 55037. You will receive a membership card that permits you entrance to meetings for the rest of the year. Additionally, you will receive a discount on any banquets or special events held by Simply Right later in the year. If you have never attended a meeting before and would just like to check the group out, you can get your name on the guest list by contacting Rudy Takala. If you would just like to attend one or two meetings after that, non-members are permitted to attend for $10.
